Accessing and Editing School Reports
School reports are created using Google Docs and are stored in the term folder on the Google Shared Drive for each year.
Class teachers will be asked soon before the reports are created if they want to start with blank documents or add starter text to the class template. Please reply to the email with your choice.
Adding Starter Test
When the reports are created, special tokens inside the template are replaced with pupil's data. To save time, it is possible to add tokens to the class template starter text. NOTE: If you edit your template please do not change the tokens at the top:
When adding starter text, simply replace the text with the corresponding token. If you want a space before and after the word please add one. Conversely to add an apostrophe S leave a space out:

Useful tokens for Starter Text
The merger understands the following terms inside double less than and greater than signs. NOTE: the token cannot contain spaces and must be exactly as shown below so it may be worth copying and pasting the tokens over your text to avoid syntax errors.
Hints and Tips
- When pasting text try to avoid leaving a double space
- When adding tokens make sure the text is exactly like the list above or they will not work. Sometimes spaces get left in between the < > signs when typed
- Remember if you leave a typo or other mistake in the template it will be duplicated for every pupil in your class
